Nous avons séjourné à "La Barba di Giove" pendant une semaine au
mois d' Aout 2011.
L'appartement Melograno est un open space aménagé avec goût. Le coin nuit est
séparé du reste de la pièce à vivre. La salle de bains dispose d'une machine à
laver (très appréciable) et même d'un sèche cheveux. La cuisine offre
micro-ondes, cafetière, grille-pain, bouilloire, fer à repasser, frigo avec
frizer... un fond de placard permet de disposer immédiatement des indispensables
avant d'aller faire les courses. L'appartement est climatisé, ce qui est d'un
confort indéniable pendant la période estivale ! La terrasse attenante est
ombragée et fleurie, de qui la rend très agréable pour profiter des repas
extérieurs et là encore, tout est prévu : grand parasol, bains de soleil,
barbecue,...
Un des points forts de cet appartement est sa situation idéale : la plage et l'aéroport
ne sont qu'à une dizaine de minutes, et Rome à une petite demi-heure de route !
Parfait pour allier plage et visites !
Les commerces les plus proches sont à 3 mns en voiture.
Enfin, et surtout, Giulia est d'une extrême gentillesse. A notre arrivée, elle
avait prévu des boissons fraiches pour nous désaltérer et une collation de
bienvenue ! Ayant voyagé toute la nuit avec des enfants, ce genre de petit
détail change tout ! Elle est de bon conseil pour découvrir la région et se
tient à disposition avec beaucoup de discrétion. A notre départ, nous avons reçu
de la confiture qu'elle réalise elle-même et nous a donné des infos pour la
suite de notre séjour en Toscane. Nous lui avons demandé si elle pouvait nous
conseiller quelques adresses pour nous permettre de commander depuis la France
certains produits italiens difficiles à trouver. A notre retour en France, un
message m'attendait avec toutes les informations ! Giulia ne se force pas pour
être agréable, on sent qu'elle reçoit avec passion et l'envie de rendre le
séjour de ses hôtes impeccable. Mission réussie ! Une adresse à retenir

Ihre Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Terrasse mit den Sitzmöglichkeiten
und mit Blick in den Garten sind sehr schön. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass
schon "Kleinigkeiten" für das erste Frühstück von Ihnen besorgt wurden
:-) :-) .
Wir haben die Woche bei Ihnen genossen und haben schon viel Reklame bei unseren
Freunden für Ihr Haus gemacht!!
Sollte wir wieder einmal nach Rom kommen, werden wir wieder bei Ihnen anfragen

The owners
knew it was my
birthday and our
apartment was
decorated with
balloons and banners.
There was a
nice bottle of wine and
two glasses
waiting for us. I'm
intolerant to milk,
and our hosts provided
alternatives in
our fridge,
to help us start
our vacation quickly.
Our apartment
was self catering (and
absolutely everything you could
possibly need is provided), but
there are
many restaurants within
walking distance. Four days
was too short, and
I'm already
looking at airline websites
to book my
next stay. A
million thanks to all
the Parente family!

There are no possible negative comments to give for this amazing
guest house. It is private, very cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. The family
was very understanding and helpful in regards to information on sites to see and
how to get around.

beautiful, immaculate apartment enough. Absolutely everything you could
think of needing is at hand in the apartment for you. The garden is stunning
and so peaceful to
relax in. We were almost stranded by
the volcanic ash situation, but Giulia quickly took away our anxieties and
organised the perfect
solution for us. Nothing is too much
trouble for her - she also really helped us with catering for Margaret's
special dietary needs. We arrived

La Barba
di Giove fut un endroit excellent pour notre séjour avec nos deux
filles. Le logement offre un confort parfait pour une famille et nous
avons énormément apprécié de pouvoir prendre nos repas sur une terrasse
privative entourée d’un si beau jardin. Nous souhaitons exprimer toute
notre gratitude à la famille Parente. Vous avez su nous assister lorsque
nécessaire tout en garantissant une intimité qui nous a permis de nous
sentir chez nous. Nous recommanderons très chaudement votre logement à
nos proches et connaissances. C’est pour nous un endroit idéal pour un
séjour à Rome tout en logeant hors de la ville. Rejoindre Rome fut très
simple. Le bus est au bout de la rue puis le train conduit jusqu’au
centre de la capitale antique. Encore toutes nos félicitations, nous
espérons revenir loger à la barba di Giove pour une autre visite de la
belle Rome !

'A lovely place to stay - everything was in perfect order and
the location is quiet and restful but very convenient. It is extremely easy to
get in and out of Rome as well as close to the wonderful remains at Ostia
Antica. Giulia was absolutely brilliant, incredibly helpful and kind. We really
were made to feel at home and had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

We ( our family) spent 2
weeks in July in Giulias house. The warmness what we felt in sun was as warm
from Parente's family. We love Fiumicino and Giulias house. It very clean and
everything what you need is available. Washing machine, coffe maker and very
well designed kitchen and we slept so well. The garden is own story to tell. Our
doughter loves sea, and it is nearby. By bus it takes about 10 minutes to get
there, if there is traffic. The nearest shop is also very good. We have been in
Fiumicino and Parentes house two times and we want to get there in next summer,
it is totally rest and holiday in there. Everything is guit cheap compearing the
Finnish prices, so you don't have to think how much you spent money during your
holiday. I can say that to getting to Giulia is holiday, from my hole heart.

Secondo me, Fiumicino è una città italiana interessante. L'Italia è un
bellissimo paese. Ha tanti posti belli che è importante vedere..
Il mare... Mi piace nuotare nel mare e me ne ricordo ogni volta l'ultima sera
con il tramonto.
Mi sono innamorata dell'Italia!Le persone, le città, i tipici piatti
italiani, ogni cosa...
